My second major is Spanish and Latin American Studies. This page will be for those courses and the work I have done in them. And since it is Spanish, it will (mostly) be in Spanish! My goals with this major were to become more proficient in the language, be able to connect it with my Communication major in a job or professional setting, and also to study abroad in South America or Spain. I can now say that I have working proficiency of the language, I was able to study abroad in Spain (where I visited Madrid, Barcelona, Toledo, and Montserrat), and although I will not actively use Spanish everyday in my career, I know it will be helpful to have knowledge of the language, and be able to use it when/if it is necessary!
